Autumn rings the bell of change
As winds blow the leaves
Colored all shades of red, orange and gold
To the ground
Birds song resonates across the sky
As grey clouds speaking of rain
Gather
Here I am alive and breathing in
This magnificence
And even as my soul falls into despair
Shades of hope summon themselves
I can hold this space tenderly
As tears arise
For often the sheer magntitude
Of love and relationships
Life and suffering
Is overwhelming
Feelings arising
In need of shedding
So then I dance and breathe
Breathe and dance
As the autumn winds
And falling leaves
That surround me
Remind me
All is change
I love the changing seasons, weird how we are in spring and you are in autumn, love reading your poetry Deb! It is fab!
