In the shadows you made your home
All alone in the wilderness
Your heart seemingly shattered
Into a million tiny shards of glass
And so you had to bear the piercing of it all
Alone
But believe me the Universe is your witness
Even as the world at large turns
A completely blind eye
Do not forget that they are
Sleepwalking
But not you
Don’t you know this pain
Will heal you
Don’t you understand that this sorrow
Will in time
Become your birthing place
So alone in the shadows
Assemble all of the kindling you need
And use the starlight of your hidden self
To light the spark
That will bring the brightest part of you
To birth
And then around the raging bonfire
Dance
Until the beating of your heart
Awakens deep inside of you
All of the love in the world
You missed
Love your poem; it spoke to me and reminded me that I am not alone ✨

You aren’t. Your mind only tells you that based on how alone you felt as a child. Love lives inside you when you find that you are never ever alone. Hugs ❤️
