Make of my heart an open field

That willing receives

Wind

And rain

And sun

A field that is full to the brim

With all that life has to offer

Let my ground be moved by the movements

Of

A greater hand

A larger force

Let the being of my earthly body

Receive this all

Willingly

Allow me to submit to what wants to

Transform me

Do not let me close myself up inside

Thinking I can hide a single thing that is real

Allow me to surrender to the process

Yes, at times

The fear I feel is great

And yet I must make an attempt to answer

That energy of fear with love

For in the end

What else is there?

For even when we close

Still death will come

And in time our soul will be led on

To another life

A greater healing

A more expansive
