You can feel alone in a crowd
When voices are loud
It can be hard to hear the truth
When it is drowned out
By too many fevered opinions
The wise among us know
Silence
Is often
Full of wisdom
Lately I seek the quiet
Look for the magic
In the moment
Letting go of the monologue
Of fevered angst and dread
Storming frenetic hoof beats
Through my head
Sometimes you will be attacked
For doing nothing
Sometimes it may seem you are
Malingering or avoiding
By withdrawing
But who knows what special healing
Your soul is recieving
Or you are beaming out
In solitude
For isolation is not about
Being alone
It is about disconnection
From the deepest taproot
Of your soul
So awesome so well put Deb! I love this! 🙂
