Freedom is not just won. It is also felt. It is embodied and chosen. It is a way of life, not just a thing to fight for when we have given too much of it away. We must reclaim that freedom in order to do something different with it this time, not just hand it over to those we assume know better. Our ‘leaders’ are fallible, and when they aren’t willing to admit that it is time to divest and reinvest in something new. What that is is up to each of us individually that informs collectively.
We are already Free, yet we must keep being reminded that is true and real. Not just given to us by decree. We choose it. We own it. We live it.
