Creativity is alive and well in my home today. It is evidenced in the extra attention I pay to the arrangement of a shelf or a table top, to the food I cook or the way I choose to present it. Creativity is a part of the activities I choose to undertake and the way I choose to enjoy them It is bringing a fresh eye to an ordinary day. Children are creative, and being with them unblocks my spontaneity – it challenges me to stay present in the moment. The work that I do is creative and not necessarily because of the nature of it, but because of the way I approach it. Approaching my life with a creative spirit actually gives me energy. It entices me to dig my hands deep into the stuff of life, work with it, and make it my own. My creative spirit propels me to move ever energetically into the next challenge. It brings me closer to the creative spirit that breathes its life into this world.
The creative person is both more primitive and more cultivated, more destructive, a lot madder and a lot saner, than the average person.

That feeling of flow the mind gets in when being creative is amazing. We are so present, time doesn’t exist anymore. Glad to hear you are finding those moments today. ❤️

This is so beautifully written and explained. Introducing creativity to everything is definitely something I’m trying to do more of. The positive effect that has on my life is crazy… I’m able to shift from a mindset of misery and pity to so much joy and love for life. Creativity is definitely something that keeps me sane 🙂 Great post
