heart

speak to me

in the music of love

fed on the power of feeling

that like a tidal wave rises

deep inside of my being

awaken me to buried truths

that live on

and can only really make their presence felt

when the voices in my head

stop talking

this river that becomes a wave

is what gives me life

even as i meet all of these

external barricades

that confuse me

these days i let go more
