I do not want to cry with you all of the time

But perhaps my soul knows truth best

In a world where only a superficial happiness

Is often honored

If there was to be this falling into a place

Where it seems

There was no light or life left

Do not be confused about the truth

That your soul’ s regenerative spirit

Still lives on

Somewhere deep inside of you

What is one perso’ns break down

May be another’s break through

And the necessary movement

Into the cocoon

Will serve a very very essential purpose

There will be those who scorn you

For inactivity

Who will shame you never having a deeper clue

About these

The tangled byways of soul becoming

But then their wills

Never knew the breaking

Or reckoned deeply

With the shattering

Deepening path

Leading inward

Deep inside the dark

Trust yourself

Hold close to what you feel is most true

Painful is it is

Feel it

Use it as fuel

Let it flow on through

Even when it is cold and dark

Hold on to a vision of

Light and life

For yet

This darkening may

Bring

Your brightening

And all of this

Conflicted oscillating betwixt and between

The opposing polarities

Maybe all just be

A part of your soul’s

Rebirth
