Missing joy

I hope you find it one day

That inner sense of missing life and joy

You are looking for

That feeling that comes when you

Fully inhabit your body in the present

And open beyond fears

Free of all of the chains your mind

Uses to bind you

I pray one day you find the release of peace

After all of the buried anger rises

Or once the fires of necessary rage

Have burned clear the way

To the next phase of your becoming

I hope you find one day

That missing sense of trust

They derailed

The confidence to know

That you were created from a certain mold

And that even as you grow

Older

Its never too late to find the way back

To the inner child you buried

Deep inside of you

I pray one day you find the way

To face and trust your feelings

For otherwise

I do not see this path you are now on

Numbing yourself out

Leading anywhere good.
