What does it take for us to stay open to each other? What does it take us to hear a person’s need and inner heart? I am just thinking about this after reading up about the interview that Meghan and Harry did with Oprah that aired here last night. I did not watch the entire interview, only excerpts but it was interesting it aired as the Moon met Pluto in the sign of Capricorn which rules all things both ‘traditional’ and Royal.
Meghan was never going to be silenced, she has two planets in Leo as well as the midheaven in Aries. Her Mars in Cancer possibly sits very close to the position of Princess Diana’s Sun.. Mars in the twelfth house (which is where is sits in Meghan’s chart 13 degrees behind the ascendant) will have many hidden battles.. Mars in Cancer also squares Saturn in Libra and this speaks to me of someone hitting a hidden block as Saturn sits very close to the base of Meghans chart opposing her Midheaven in Aries.. The Midheaven shows what appears in public.. Meghan has become a kind of warrior for having a voice with taking the risk to open about her emotional experiences within the palace and with the Royal family as well as the British media.. not only over depression but over her recent miscarriage’
To have battled depression and not really known how to get help must have felt so painful and even moreso for Prince Harry knowing the history of how his own mother got trapped by the stiff upper lip ethos so present in the Royal Family.. That said who is at fault here?. We have to recognize the institution for what it is and see the long tradition that has led it to become and remain such a place of emotional shutdown..
I do not know a lot about the so called ‘battle of the brothers’ but its only natural the youngest my try to fight for his freedom and become aligned with someone who may get in trouble from the public by trying to reveal that (at least symbolically) the ruling ’emperor’ has no clothes.. There does not seem to be a lot of room in the palace for one to have personal feelings about much nor an individual life and no Leo I know wants to be constricted by the collective. and stay silent about what they truly feel.. Leos’ will often also be called ‘too dramatic’ or get in trouble for so called ‘making waves’
What maybe graceful here is to recognise that the struggles of the Sussexes very much highlight issues in a world of change.. Pluto is still in Capricorn and will be for a few more years… the tendency may be to demonise some elements of the Royal Family.. The British media in many ways tried to both scapegoat and demonise Meghan.. to paint her as a difficult trouble maker, but God doesn’t make mistakes and when Harry and Meghan met I am sure it was all for a purpose.. lets pray understanding and compassion wins out in time… we all know that racism is still very much alive in this world. and old fears and attitudes will not change quickly although there is now increasing pressure for them to do so.. Exactly what is it about ‘blackness’ we fear so much? This I feel is at psychological depth a very important question for us to contemplate…
