When I feel you

Lost in the dark

I will reach for you

These loving arms of mine

Will enfold you

And I will hold you

As you find the strength to bear with

The hurting

Letting it burst like a bubble

Grown far too heavy

If tears cascade down in a waterfall

Let me use these to nourish wisdom

Let me rest inside the truth

Until the dying husks of feeling

Shed their skins

Giving birth to something else

A desire to be fully present and alive

And to never again make the mistake

Of hiding

My true self

From anyone

Out of fear
