Dear God
I know there is a purpose for me being here. Let me surrender to my lessons but not surrender to despair.. Let me embrace what comes allowing it to move through me and move me forward. Let me open my heart to the life stream of love and pain that wants to come and even surrender to the piercings of my flesh as Christ surrendered.
Remind me that what is for me will not go past me.. That I can take action when the spirit says to and I can center deep inside the silence and stillness to hear your voice and my own when that is called for.
Allow my heart to be cleansed by the underground spring of compassion. Remind me I was not put on earth to beg for love but to open my heart to love and the will for growth that you plant deep inside our spirit.. Let the spirit always move through me and guide me. Help me to expand and enlarge to embrace more of the mystery of human emotional and spiritual life.
