Away from you

I am carried by a wild tide dreaming

that reveals to me

the hidden face of stars

The further I travel from the crowd

the more I find myself at home

Held here

so deeply comforted within the mystery

cradled gently in the palm

of the great unknown

so familiar my soul

Here in my chosen distance

there no longer live

feelings of betrayal

or angry resistance

for life is life

and souls are souls

Heaven knows we cannot chose to be

other than we are

destined

without enduring the absolute worst

of suffering

And so it is

slowly I choose my place

as I turn my face

towards my hearts desire

I know the world will wait for me

but for now it is so important

that my soul is free
