Caught up in the storm

Disconnection can feel so real at times

We get ourselves

Caught up in the lonely storm

And while wild winds blow

It feels so cold here

All alone

In our alien Universe

And yet even then

God is often standing

So very near to us

Even as her face disappears

Behind the clouds

And even the angels

Are praying we find a way

To turn the pain around

For love lives deep inside

The heart of us

Even when we lose the way to it

There is an ocean of deep feeling

That longs for you to take the deep dive

There is also dry land

And sunshine

That clears the clouds

After the storm has passed

So embrace the storm
