If sometimes I sense the calling

Of a far off voice

I remember that love lives on

Even deep within the void

That sometimes opens

And not to look in the outside world

For peace and comfort that only come to me

From the inside

When I commit the mistake of thinking

“There is something wrong with me”

I am really lost

For really my heart is calling to me

Why are you treating me this way

When I am what is best in you

And only long for

Your love

Why are you being so unkind

When all I need is just to feel

Free to be

And breathe

There was a time I came to believe

The lie of the world

And yet I knew

It was in nature

I would find my cure

There out amongst the great expanse

Where I hear the wind and spirits whispering

That is where I feel most free

That is where I am most

In touch

With my higher power

And with the spirit within

That most enriches

And gives my life
