Twinkle as you do

With that light in your eyes

Reflecting the depths of your soul

And the love you shower on life

Joy is the sound of your name

Playing across my brain

On those days when I am

Missing you as I do

As though the Sun said to the Moon

I must go

But do not despair

I will be back soon

Sometimes the moon in me

Longs for your light to shine

On my soul

In the darkest of night
