Is reflected from your eyes

Will capture me

As suddenly the waterfall of memory

Draws me towards you

Maybe then all the promise we felt

That never materialised

Will catch us both by surprise

As out of nowhere

Angels whisper in our ears

Secrets we lost the way to

Maybe one day

After all is said and done

The constant pain

That used to linger on

Will vapourise

And finally we will both

Be able to smile

For sometimes all the dreams we dreamed

Disappear

So life can catch us unawares

On the downward swing

When we surrender desire

To letting go

Bathing in the cleansing sea of imagining

Setting us free

To find a new promise
