Just a question, rather and with a few reflections. Are we too focused on ‘cure’ in our society? What about if our pain and scars or wounds and suffering are the ‘birthplace of the real’ of deeper insight, humanity, understanding and compassion? What if rather than try to give answers to others we sat with them while they asked their own questions and struggled to find the answers from within THROUGH the process of struggling and containing, rather than DESPITE that struggle? What if we knew that each and every person is where they need to be to learn the lessons they need to by facing the challenges they have? What if we understood that sometimes people are actually given more than they can cope with without having adequate support and so do get completely overwhelmed and that its downright wrong to suggest they ‘should’ be coping better or ‘over it all by now’?
That said on the journey of coming to truly know our inner wounds and self the struggle gets tiring and we need a break from focusing on the pain. Sometimes we need the soothing relief of peace and respite from challenges.
On those days take yourself to a place where you can see and be surrounded by beauty and find within the healing embrace and loving containment of nature a place to find peace for a while from all the trials and challenges this life and healing journey presents you with.
Nature is listening to you. In nature you can become quiet enough to listen to your own heart. And in nature you can find all the love you need from within. Nature is God and God wants to love us and for us to find our way back to peace and love from out of struggle and challenges. God within the self is the quiet still part of us that can lovingly witness our inner struggle and hold our hand through the pain, God within love us even in our flaws and seemingly broken place. God within does not demand perfection of us or of anyone else, only that we acknowledge our vulnerable humanity.
