Veils

As the veils between the worlds lift

I feel your breath on my cheek

As whispers of your words float

Inside my mind

Filling my thoughts with peace

The warmth of sunlight brings me

Life energy and comfort

As does the realisation of

How close your presence is to me

It is as though your soul

Is the sunlight

And its warmth is your touch

Caressing my skin

And as your words of love fill my heart

I know without a doubt

That nothing can separate us

Not even death
