Soul is within me : reflections on soul

I am a living expression of the divine energy, a piece of God. This how God meant it to be, how spirit works through flesh. how the world is an expression of the divine.

I will look within for soul.

Soul is the life spring within me, from which I drink when I am thirsty. It is always willing to entertain another point of view, to take a fresh look, to forgive and try again. It is that bubbly, ebullient part of me that comes back for more, that recovers, that wakes into another morning with new energy. It is my soul that wishes to see meaning and beauty in my daily life. When I let myself feel and get to know that meaning, then I am getting to know my own soul.

Soul sticks to realm of experience and in reflections within experience. It moves indirectly in circular reasonings, where retreats are as important as advances, preferring labyrinths and corners, giving a metaphorical sense of life. Soul involves us in the pack and welter of phenomena and the flow of impressions. It is the “patient” part of us. Soul is vulnerable and it suffers, it is passive and it remembers…. The cooking vessel of the soul takes in everything, everything can become soul; and by taking into its imagination any and all events, psychic space grows.
