Joyful spirit licked the wings of air
Like fire blazing without a care
Only burning to its hearts content
Because that is the purpose for which fire is meant
And if water decided it did not believe
Its true purpose was to run downstream
Following the force of gravity
Where the hell on earth would we all be
And should air believe
It was all too much palaver
To grant wings flight
Scarpering all dreams
Of airborne delight
How the hell would humans cope?
So if someone tells you not to prance
Don’t listen
Keep doing the joyful dance
Your spirit bids you to
For there is a terrible terrible price to pay
When you listen to advice
That tells you
To stop
Being you
