Sunshine

There is a sun shining somewhere

Behind those clouds

And storms will come to bring a deluge

Grey, grey days of mist and fog

May dog the many years of our lives

Following deep trauma and loss

But don’t forget to remember this

There is a force of love at the heart of it

And you can find it if you just embrace

The sense that life can still have meaning

Even on the darkest of days

If you keep trusting that somewhere

Behind all of the grey

The sun is still there shining
