Overwhelmed

Sometimes the force of your personality

Overwhelms me

You say that nothing is going to bring you down

You talk and talk and talk

And when I try to speak

My voice is drowned

Underneath the sound of yours

And then I feel my power goes down

Where as before I was strong

I become weak

Are you able to listen to me

Can you hear what I have to say

Does it really matter anyway

Can I hear myself

Only in the silence it seems

Is my voice truly being heard

Lately
