Precipice

Each faltering step

I took along the precipice

Was fraught with fear

As I felt the breath of the wind of change draw near

Here up high where there is no safety

What before gave clarity

Seems to have dispersed

   Blown apart by a wave of panic

Rising deep inside

A terrifying tide of change

Things are transforming fast

As I falter along precipice

Til fear transforms

To becomes anticipation of the unknown

Longed for and desired

Yet terrifying to my soul

Sending through me

A quivering super charge in every cell
