Through the light you showed me
There is beauty and truth in this world
Despite so much terror and darkness
And that even when storm clouds gather
Something is preparing
To come to the surface
To be released
If only we were
As wise as nature
As willing to surrender
Willing ourselves to be buffeted
While remaining
Like the stem of a young willow sapling
Tender and supple
But instead at times
Our hearts grow rigid and hard
Filled with so much pain
We keep inside
Running round again and again
Our stories of loss and hurt
He (she) done me wrong
Forgetting that is about someone else’s game or shame
Not ours
When if we were like nature
Allowing the storm to rise
And blow through
Abiding in hope until it passed
Until again there are blue skies
Witnessing the return of the light
That comes
When everything is washed clear again
But when we are in a storm
Vision is obscured
Clouds before our eyes
And thunder in our hearts
Can we instead
Find a way
To hold steady
With the rumbling tearing and shaking
If so
In time we will be changed
Emptied in some way of our tumultuous past
Vision cleared
Finding ourselves at last
Kneeling knee deep in a green field
Nourished by rain
Out entite body and soul
Filled with light
WOW! Love this! Powerful!! Thanks for sharing!!
PS: I hope today is not too painful for you!! ❤

No it honestly wasn’t, Bea. I went to my Mums unit for the first time and took home some special things related to our journey together. Then a close friend called. I had lovely time with my fur baby at the park..it was a beautiful day. Hugs and love ❤🌷
