Letting go
Shedding
May involve a lot of grieving
There may be a lot of guilt and regret
For what we did not see
And could not know
Or what we were just not
At that point
Strong enough to face
It is okay to cry
As you do your tears are softening you
Releasing tight densely packed places
Where hurts and losses lived
They may also be softening the hard skin around you
That needs to be shed
So that the germ of you can emerge
From deep within
The casing of its cocoon
Don;t listen to those
Who want to criticise
The young butterfly
Whose wings are still forming
Who cannot manage just yet
To achieve any elevation or flight
The bumbling attempts are all part of the way
Those wings grow stronger
Let the process move through you
Don’t fear the change
Or attach too much to the failure
Or judge your self for struggling
For surely the purpose of all of this
Is both
Growth and birthing
And until you emerge
You cannot really know
What it is you are becoming
Open to
Express

Beautiful! And yes!
The end is the beginning and to mourn is to express your inner self in its most honest moment. Crying is important, I know this from first hand experience. It’s not something you look forward to, but when you are in that place, crying releases those toxins of the soul. Crying is a true emotion, it isn’t colored as with hatred and judgement. It is true, and it is important.
Your words are strong and beautiful ones. As per usual

I just love that sentence crying is a true emotion.. it is true and it is important. Bless you. ❤ I love this quote from therapist Clarissa Pinkola Estes : tears soften the soul and keep away the predator… like you said … no hatred in those healing tears just the essence of pure recognition so impossible to really express in words. Love and thanks to you. ❤
