All roads lead to home
The ones you travelled
The ones you feared to travel and forsook
The ones that got you lost
The ones that led to a dead end
The ones that left you alone and weeping
The roads that disappeared led you to a dark place
A deep wilderness or a wood
In which you fell to earth
Crying tears of blood into your hands
When all seemed truly lost
It appeared you had no destination
But surrender was the purpose
Surrender to the loss of the road you hoped to travel
And all you met along the way
Surrender to the pain of remembering the road not taken
Or meant for you
In order to find the one that was
Don’t you see
All of these are roads that you travelled led you home
So don’t pray for another road
Pray only for the courage to travel down the road
That leads you home to your heart
To here
