Knee deep in a cloud

When you are there

Knee deep in a cloud

All knowing of the way forward has gone from you

The earth’s bottom has fallen away

From your beneath your feet

Don`t look for answers

Clouds don’t have very much to say

They just ask you

To float and rest for a little while

Dreaming your life away

 

Knee deep in a cloud

You fall through space

All road have disappeared

And there is only thin air surrounding you

You may be the bird that has taken flight

Or

The trapped soul

Now released from a prison

That was never of your own making

So you float

Not knowing any destination

And as thoughts come unbidden

Life asks you to surrender them all

Here in this place of not knowing

Knee deep in a cloud

You are being called upon

To let go of all known reference points

To embrace change

And to be undone

Until the cloud forms change

Rain may fall

As the clouds disappear

And you wake to find yourself

Once again standing on

Solid sacred ground
