I just happened across the site of astrologer Judy Hall and it was a moment of synchronicity that made me discover the page and an article which featured the above quote by Rumi, one of my favourite spiritual writers.
I had met with a friend for coffee today and was sharing about some strange psychic phenomena that seemed to be occurring at my house lately such as the strange visit by the cockatoo that flew inside and pushed a little bag off the dresser that was given to me by a relative of my dead sister, then the television in the bedroom turned itself on ally by itself last Monday after this friend had left. Following that several things went missing and I had heard very strange clicking sounds in the root which apparently the space spirit often inhabit. I have both read this and been told it by psychically sensitive persons.

It seems there may be a fine line between hearing voices as a result of traumatic issues embedded in the past, brain changes due to early drug use and being able to hear inner voices which relate to old things we were told and the ability to pick up information, feel a connection to loved ones passed over or intuitive messages that a higher or deeper part of us may be telling us.
Today my friend told me the story of how her only daughter when she was very young came into her room late at night claiming to be visited by my friend’s dead father. With him was an older woman with a purple ring on her finger. My friend was amazed as the young daughter never met her great grandmother but in her life she wore an amethyst ring. I had opened up to my friend about my latest experiences as I began to trust her and so she shared this with me. We were wondering if a child could pick up memories embedded in a parent’s soul or whether that child, as yet not shut down to other energies, was still in contact with and open to other realms. She shared that often her daughter also had strong bodily impressions in the lead up to some critical event.
The last thing I want is to scare people from my blog but I do believe that there is some truth to what Judy touches on in the piece of writing I linked to above. That young children may naturally be psychically attuned and if this sensitivity is not understood in younger years it may lead to problems. In my own case I have had experiences of feeling pain my body and then learning of someone I was connected to emotionally going through some pain or crisis. When my Godfather passed away a few years ago I had a pain in the back of my head. He a stroke with head pain that took him out very close to the time I felt the pain.
I cannot elaborate too much here on the link I often see between high sensitivity and being in touch with energies or unseen realms as it is something I don’t know a lot about. However I thought it was interesting to find that article today as Judy Hall wrote a very good book on the Pluto Moon which relates to the strong psychic and ancestral connections that those with Moon Pluto aspects can have. It occurs to me that some who are diagnosed with so called ‘mental illnesses’ may actually be open to other energies but may not really be able to ground the experience in their life in a balanced way. My older sister who died was diagnosed as bi polar following her cerebral bleed but when she was in a psychosis she was often trying to address very real issues and energetic things that were happening in an obtuse though metaphoric way. No one really wanted to hear the truth and so she was shut down at times and judged to be ‘mad’.
Anyway if this interests you, you may want to give Judy’s article a read. I sit on the fence with these kind of this sometimes but one thing I do know, if you are gifted in this way, being informed, open minded and aware can be a lot of help if you don’t want to travel down a pathway that may block your abilities or shut you down. Its a complex and sensitive issue but one I feel I wanted to share about and open up today.

If reality differs from person to person, can we speak of reality singular, or shouldn’t we really be talking about plural realities?
