Longing

I longed for you

In the emptiness

Emptiness could not answer me

With understanding

And so emptiness grew

Until

It was too much to face

Alone

Abandonment depression

I ran from you

I could not  face

All the feelings you contain

Until I could

How could I ever find

The way back

From my Lost self?

Hunger

Tell me what you hunger for

Feed me not bread

But

Love

Awareness

Empathy

Presence

Understanding

Make me drown no more
