Even though your heart is aching

Even though your knees are quaking

Walk through the wall of fear

Trust that in the moment

You can stand

Still straight and true

Holding on to yourself

Knowing deep in your heart

The way to turn

And even if confusion comes

Allow the confusion

But don’t allow the fear to define you

Feel the fear

As partly the price of letting go

Of one phase of life

And partly the excitement

Of an empty space opening up

Into which new life can enter

Part of feeling deeply

The death within life and life within death

Don’t hover on the threshold

Scared you will fall

Too fearful of the grief you need to feel

In the shedding of the old

Trust that angels

Will be with you

And the Universe

Wont let you go
